Explain the three evils declared illegal under the Right Against Exploitation.

Right to Equality and liberty ensures that any citizen of India cannot be exploited. The Constitution of India has made clear provisions regarding this Right Against Exploitation. This right protects the weaker sections of the society against exploitation by the upper and aristocrat classes.

The following three evils are declared illegal under the Right Against Exploitation:

a. Traffic in human beings is considered illegal. Traffic means buying and selling of human beings. This declaration protects the women especially from being traded for their flesh.

b. Forced Labour or Begar is the second evil that is prohibited by our Constitution. Begar is a form of forced labour where a worker is forced to work for his master free of charge or only at a nominal remuneration. This declaration prevents bonded labour in the long run.

c. Child labour is declared illegal. Children below fourteen years of age cannot be employed to work in any factory or mine or in any other hazardous work. This has prevented children from working in explosive factories like fire crackers, beedi making, printing and dyeing.

Thus, Right Against Exploitation protects men, women and children from being exploited physically and mentally.
