State Oparin and Haldane’s hypothesis and write the conclusion S.L. Miller arrived at after completing his experiment.
Oparin and Haldane stated that the first form of life originated from the pre-existing non-living organic molecules. These organic molecules combined to form complex molecules (chemical evolution) which later lead to the formation of life.
Conclusions that S.L. Miller arrived at are-
i. Organic compounds like ammonia could be synthesized in reducing environment.
ii. These organic compounds combined to form polymers like protein, lipids, nucleic acids, etc.
iii. These polymers combined together to form Coacervate with a thin layer of water around it.
