Different strategies have been developed by analysts for the purpose of overcoming hegemony. They are listed below:

(i) Bandwagon Strategy:

As per the Bandwagon strategy, it is advised that rather than indulging in activities that are opposed to the hegemonic power, it is suggestible to extract benefits via operating within the hegemonic system.

(ii) Hide Strategy:

As per the Hide strategy, staying as distant from the dominant power as possible is suggested. It is best observed in behaviours exhibited by nations like Russia, China as well as the European Union.
