How are international organisations helpful to the nations?
International organisations are very essential for the maintenance of peace and tranquillity in the world because-
i) It is not above the states. It is a result of the mutual agreement between states to help resolve problems.
ii) Certain issues need collective action for resolution like the issue of climate change which requires countries to come together and reduce emission levels to have an impact.
iii) Even if countries are aware of rising problems sometimes, they are not in a position to curtail it. Hence international organisations come with bureaucracy, rules and regulations that can help member nations cooperate.
iv) Additional support in terms of finance, research and implementation that international organisations provide aids in implementation of government policies. Example the WTO reports, HRW reports etc.
