In parallelogram ABCD:
AB = CD……………..(i) [In aparallelogram opposite sides are equal and parallel]
AE = CF…….. (ii) given
On subtracting (ii) from (i)
AB-AE = CD-CF
BE = DF
BE parallel to DF
Therefore quad BFDE is aparallelogram, since one pair of opposite sides are equal and parallel.
