When do we consider a person to be myopic or hypermetropic? Explain using diagrams how the defects associated with myopic and hypermetropic eye can be corrected?


A person is considered to be myopic if he/ she can see nearby objects but is unable to see distant object. A person is said to hypermetropic, if the person is not able to see nearby objects but can see distant objects.
