1. Mohan should cultivate Sugarcane because the geographical conditions required to cultivate this crop are available in abundance in Uttar Pradesh. The reasons are as follows-

2. Sugarcane, a tropical as well as a sub-tropical crop grows well in hot and humid climate, with an average temperature of 21°C to 27°C and an annual rainfall between 75cm. and 100 cm.

3. Irrigation is required in regions with low rainfall and it can be grown on a variety of soils and needs manual labour from sowing to harvesting.
