Explain the language and content of Mahabharata

The Mahabharata is a great dynamic epic. The Language of Mahabharata is in simple Sanskrit which is far simpler than that of Vedas or the Prashastis. This is the reason that it was widely understood and circulated. The historians usually classify the subject-matter of the Mahabharata into two broad categories. The first section is designated as Narrative and contains story. The second section is designated as Didactic and contains prescriptions about social norms.
