As we have read in the chapter, leaders like Rani Laxmibai were important figures who fought against the oppressive British Rule.

Bahadur Shah Jafar, the last Mughal Emperor was at that proclaimed the Emperor of India.

NOTE – There were many important leaders, who locally played a very important role in the uprising. Students can make a list of these leaders and write about their significant contributions.
