b. After the embryo gets implanted in the maternal uterus, it’s gradual development continues. Body parts such as hands, legs, head, etc. develop and the resultant fetus starts to resemble the adult human beings in terms of body parts and structure.


When the development of the fetus is complete, the mother delivers the baby, i.e. the fetus is expelled out from the mother's body.
