Why do you think does Telangana not receive any snowfall during winter months?

Telangana lies in the peninsular plateau of India. The average temperature of Telangana in winter is 20 to 25 degrees. To receive snowfall in any area, following are the requirements:

• The temperature of the upper atmosphere should be as low as zero degree Celsius (approximately).

• Besides the temperature of the upper atmosphere, the temperature of the surface should also be low. If the temperature of the surface is not low, the snow will melt before reaching the surface.

But Telangana does not support any of these conditions. Therefore, it does not receive rainfall during any season.
