Given,



We know that,


25 = 5 × 5 = 52


125 = 5 × 5 × 5 = 53


= 53 = 5[(2x+1) -2] = 53


5[(2x+1)-2] = 5[2x-1] = 53


= 2x - 1 = 3


2x = 3 + 1 = 4



∴ x = 2
