REPORT WRITING

ART AND CRAFT EXHIBITION

On the auspicious day of our school jubilee ceremony, our school has organized an Art and Craft Exhibition which was surely splendid. The amount of enthusiasm from the participants and the talented works of the students from class sixth to twelfth was remarkable. Indeed the highlight of the exhibition was a section called “I-SPACE” which demonstrated the various inventions and discoveries of the technological world that has left everyone speechless. Technology has become the need of today’s world and whose importance was perfectly shown by our students. The budding scientists of class 12th presented many creative ideas and machines which can prove a great success in the science world.

The exhibition was inaugurated by the renowned painter, Meena Menon who was the chief guest of the ceremony. She shared her opinions on the thoughtful ideas and presentations given by the students in the exhibition and also spoke some words on the importance of arts and crafts in the life of any individual. She said that one could share his/her own views through arts than any writing and painting and drawings exhibition should be appreciated at very large scales in schools and colleges. There was also the sculpture section titled, ‘Best from Waste’ in which students from the Fine Arts Department made a 10-foot high statue of the Buddha which was wonderful and very much praised by the guests. Surely the ceremony by organizing an exhibition proved very beneficial for both technical and art world and these opportunities for creative ideas will always begin to bloom for the development of the nation.

IMPORTANCE OF COMMUNITY SERVICE

Respected jury, principal sir, worthy teachers and all my dear friends, very good morning to all of you. I Shirin from class 12th am going to deliver a speech on the topic “importance of community service in schools”.

The past week has been a great experience for me as I got a little taste of some leadership skills as well as the importance of community services. Students must engage themselves in any community as it provides a great platform to practically learn and implement things what you have already been taught through education in schools. By participating in any community provides students with the opportunity to become active persons of their community and has a long-lasting positive impact on society later.

Volunteering in such services increases self-confidence and helps people to feel good about them as they are serving and helping others. It creates social bonds with each other and increases social awareness and encourages people to be responsible citizen. The role of students in organizing such community services is very important as it enhances their personal knowledge and develops better interpersonal communication skills. One must be a part of some social welfare during his school times!!

Thank you and have a good day.
