Explain in short about the process of colonialisation.
When British came to India they tried to establish their control over the economy and society by collecting revenue to meet all their expenses and purchased goods at a lower price and only allowed cultivation of those crops so that they can export. Gradually, they bought changes in the values and tastes, customs and practices. This way they established their rule, conquered all the territories and controlled local Nawabs and rajas. So when one country control or try to rule the other country by making changes in the political, economic, social and cultural aspect of the society, then this process is termed as ‘Colonisation’.
