What were the advantages Indian weavers had?

Indian weavers knew the art of weaving intricate designs but it was not possible in the weaving machines of England.

There was a huge demand of intricately woven design cloth by the rich and middle class of India.


Indians also produced a very coarse cloth that was cheap and was easily afforded by the poor people in India. There was a huge demand for this cloth.
