When was Indian constitution adopted?

After the Drafting Committee published its first draft in 1948, Indian people were given 8 months to give their input. A revised draft was created with the public’s input, and it was recited three times in the assembly. After this, the Indian Constitution was framed and adopted on 26^th November, 1949. It was enacted on 26^th January, 1950.
