Q14 of 107 Page 17

The radii of the circular ends of a solid frustum of a cone are 33 cm and 27 cm and its slant height is 10 cm. Find its total surface area.

Slant height of frustum cone, l = 10cm

Radii of circular ends of frustum cone: r’ = 33cm and r’’ = 27cm

Total surface area = π(r’ + r’’)l + π r’2 + π r’’2

= π(33 + 27)10 + π (33)2 + π (27)2

= 7599.42cm2
