Q1 of 31 Page 259

If the cost of 7m of cloth is Rs. 294, find the cost of 5 m of cloth.

It is given in the question that,

Cost of 7 m of cloth = Rs. 294

Cost of 1 m of cloth = (Rs. 297)/4= Rs.42

Therefore,

Cost of 5 m of cloth = 5× Cost of 1m cloth = Rs. 42 × 5 = Rs. 210
