If 5x6 is exactly divisible by 3, then the least value of x is

We know that if sum of digits of a number is divisible by 3, then the number is divisible by 3.


Here,


5 + x + 6 = multiple of 3


∴ 11 + x = 0, 3, 6, 9, ….


Hence,


11 + x = 12


∴ x= 1


the least value of x is 1
