Q5 of 16 Page 45

Discuss why wearing more layers of clothing during winter keeps us warmer than wearing just one thick piece of clothing?

Wearing more layers of clothing during winter keeps us warmer than wearing just one thick piece of clothing because air gets trapped in between the layers of the clothes and air, being a bad conductor of heat, doesn’t allow heat to pass through them and heat is retained within the layers keeping the clothes warm.
