The two adjacent sides of a rectangle are 5x2 – 3y2 and x2 + 2xy. Find the perimeter.

We know that;


Two adjacent sides of a rectangle are l and b;


l = 5x2 – 3y2


b = x2 + 2xy


Perimeter of rectangle = (2l+2b)


Which is;


2 (5x2 – 3y2) + 2(x2 + 2xy)


= (10x2 – 6y2) + (2x2 + 4xy)
