Construct a rhombus ABCD in which AB=4cm and diagonal AC is 6.5 cm.

The given rhombus ABCD can be drawn as follows:


Step 1: Draw a line segment AC = 6.5 cm.


Step 2: With A as centre draw two arcs of 4cm on either side of AC.


Step 3: With C as centre draw another two arcs of 4cm such that it intersects the previous arcs at B and D.


Step 4: Join AB, BC, CD and DA.



ABCD is the required rhombus.
