It is an organisation that was established for the willing full citizens be it man or woman between 20 – 35 years of age to join and assists in the defense of the nation.

The following work has been assigned to them:

Maintain public security, supply of milk, water and other essential services during riots or strikes, to regulate traffic, to help people at the time of natural disasters like floods, earthquakes, etc.
