Q1 of 34 Page 148

The radius of a cylinder is 8 cm and its height is 35 cm. What is the area of its curved surface?

Let the base radius be ‘r’ and height be ‘h’ and diameter be ‘d’

⇒ Given that ∴ r = 8 cm

and h = 35 cm

⇒ Curved surface area A= Circumference × height
A=2πr× h
