Nutritional deficiency diseases

Nutrition deficiency diseases/malnutrition is often caused due to lack of intake of required amount of nutrients. There are of three different types of nutrition deficiency diseases namely calorie, protein and protein calorie malnutrition. Kwashiorkor and marasmus are most common nutrition deficiency disease found in underdeveloped / war affected countries.
