How can we smell perfume sitting several metres away from the source?

When perfume is released from the bottle it quickly turns into vapor. Vapor particles have less force of attraction than liquid. That’s why rate of diffusion of gas is very high than liquid. Thus we can get the smell of perfume sitting several metres away from the source.
