The sum of three consecutive multiples of 8 is 888. Find the multiples.

Let the three consecutive multiples of 8 are 8x-8, 8x, 8x+8

Then, 8x-8+8x+8x+8 = 888


24x = 888



Therefore, the numbers are, 288,296 and 304.
