Q6 of 34 Page 191

A milk tank is in the form of cylinder whose radius is 1.5 m and length is 7 m. Find the quantity of milk in litres that can be stored in the tank?

Volume of milk tank = π r2 h

= (22/7) × (1.5)2 × 7

= 49.5 cub. m

As we know, 1 cubic metre = 1000 litres

So, 49.5 cubic metre = 49500 litres
