Challenge Write an expression for the sum of 1 and twice a number n. If you let n be any odd number, will the result always be an odd number?

1+2n

now if n is odd


then yes the expression will always be odd


because 2n will always be even. (even if n is odd or even)


so even plus 1 will always be odd.
