Firstly, we’ll find the cumulative frequencies(c.f) –


Now, the sum of all frequencies = 99


And,




⇒ m = 50


Now we’ll see to the c.f just greater than this m


Which is 52 and then we’ll see the corresponding marks obtained and that will be the median.


⇒ Median = 30
