⇒ Total price of the pens = 2y

⇒ 3x + 2y = 55


In second case:


Number of exercise copies = 4


Number of pens = 3


⇒ Total price of the exercise copies = 4x


⇒ Total price of the pens = 3y


⇒ Total price of exercise copies and pens = 75


⇒ 4x + 3y = 75
