How do algae differ from fungi?

Algae have chlorophyll so they can photosynthesize. They are autotrophs. But fungi do not have chlorophyll, they cannot photosynthesize. They are heterotrophs.

Algae are simple, plant-like organisms without roots, stem, and leaves. Fungi body is made up of hyphae or mycelium.
