Moon has no atmosphere. Why?

Moon has no atmosphere because the moon’s gravity is th of Earth’s gravity and that’s not simply strong enough to prevent the atmosphere from escaping. In fact, the moon does have a very thin atmosphere which is very thin to be felt.
