Why did Mr. Mullick turn down PatolBabu's request for a rehearsal?

Mr. Mullick was involved in a tight schedule and was an obsessed director. He had no patience and time to give a rehearsal time to such a small dialogue. With this, there was one more reason that the scene had to shot in sunlight and as clouds were on the head so he had to take a shot as soon as possible. So he turned down PatolBabu's request for a rehearsal.
