Autotrophs are the organisms which aroused very late on the earth surface but their arrival on the earth surface is responsible for changing the environment of earth from reducing to oxidizing type. Blue-green algae were the first autotrophs that arrived on earth and release of molecular oxygen by them changed the environment from reducing to oxidizing type.
