Don’t use lifts at the time of earthquake.

Lifts should not be used at the time of earthquake, because if the earthquake is too strong on the Richter’s scale, it may cut the power. And, in this case, a person may be trapped in there for an uncertain period of time, till it is reconnected. Then, it is better to avoid it before and after the shocks.

After getting stuck in elevator, the person will not be able to breathe, as it is a closed space so there will be no oxygen to breathe. This leads to the death of the person due to suffocation.

Also, in case a person got stuck in elevator and due to earthquake the building can collapse, then also the person will die due to heavy pressure.
