Why is the speed of rotation in Singapore much faster than that at Tokyo or Russia?

It is because of the rotation of Earth. The speed of rotation at Singapore is much faster than that at Tokyo or Russia as the speed of rotation is Earth is maximum at the ‘equator’ and goes on decreasing and becomes minimum when reaches to poles. Singapore is located close to the equator the speed of rotation is maximum, but Tokyo or Russia are located near the poles where the speed of rotation is minimum.
