Planting trees help in checking Global Warming:

• Global warming occurs due to green house effect.

• The green house effect does not allow gases such as CO₂ to escape into space.

• This forms the layer of CO₂ in the atmosphere hence increasing atmospheric carbon dioxide.

• The layer does not allow the sunrays to escape into space.

• This increases the temperature of the earth causing global warming.

• If we plant trees, this increased level of carbon dioxide will be used by the plants hence, decreasing global warming.

• More the trees will be planted, more the amount of carbon dioxide will be used by these trees.

• This will help in destroying the layer of CO₂ and hence decreasing the temperature of the earth.

• In this way planting trees help in decreasing the global warming.
