Draw a triangle whose sides are represented by x = 0, y = 0, and x + y = 3.

X = 0 y axis


Y = 0 x axis


For x + y = 3


Let us plot points by putting value of x and obtaining the value of y from the equation:


X + y = 3


Y = 3 – x


At x = 0, y = 3 – 0 = 3


At x = 3, y = 3 – 3 = 0


At x = 1, y = 3 – 1 = 2


At x = 2, y = 3 – 2 = 1



Plotting the above point we get the following triangle
