Non-conventional source of energy includes Solar energy, Bioenergy, Wind energy, Tidal energy. These are also known as renewable energy. Some of its advantages are as follows:

1. Nonconventional source of energy is renewable. If we figure out a way to harness this energy efficiently, then we would never run out of these resources.

2. It's cheaper when compared to a conventional source of energy

3. Conventional sources of energy are scarce, while the Non-conventional source of energy is inexhaustible

4. It is environment-friendly. They do not cause pollution and are eco-friendly

5. They require less maintenance and release no pollutants as waste products.
