How do you appreciate the efforts of man to use the metals in making tools?

The effort of man to use metals is really appreciating. Because metals found in nature are impure and they are in different forms. But man had discovered the source metals, how to extract pure metals, properties of metals and then using the metals very wisely for the daily life applications to make life easier, comfortable and saving time.
