If the amplitude increases three times by how much times will the loudness increase?

Loudness is directly proportional to amplitude. So, if amplitude increases loudness also increases.

Now, Loudness = (Amplitude)2


If amplitude is increased 3 times then loudness increases as = 32 = 9times.
