What is Gram Sabha? Mention its function.

Gram Sabha is a legislative body which consists of members of the village above 18 years of age Its functions are:

1. To keep the gram panchayat responsible and make sure it plays its role.

2. It makes sure the panchayat does not misuse its money and favour some people over the others.

3. It hears the grievances of the people of the designated village and tends to their problems.
