Explain three factors which led to the rise of Hitler in Germany.

Hitler adopted various ways through which he tried to establish his power. The three factors which led to the rise of Hitler in Germany were as follows:

• Hitler gave a powerful speech and promised people to provide them with the jobs and secure future. To establish total control over its people and to generate support for Hitler, Nazis held rallies, displayed red banners with the swastika and Nazi salute.


• He promised people establishment of a strong nation and to reverse the injustice done to the Germans people through the Treaty of Versailles. They cleverly made the use of media and language to popularize their ideology and beliefs. They spread their ideas through visuals images, films, radio, posters, catchy slogans and leaflets.


• Nazis through various means made people believed that Hitler is ‘messiah, a saviour who has come to save them and provide them with a better future.’


With all these measures, he gradually attained power and establish his control over Germany.
