Explain how the people of Rajasthan use to overcome the problem of water scarcity.

One of the commonly used technique was rooftop rainwater harvesting. In the semi-arid regions of Rajasthan agricultural fields were converted into storage structures. In some regions such as Bikaner, Phalodi tankas, i.e. the underground water storage tanks were used to store water.
