Mention any two exceptions to the right to equality.

The Constitution of India guarantees the Right to Equality through Article 14 to 18 of the Indian Constitution. Article 14 guarantee equality before the law to all the citizens. However, this is not an absolute rule, and there are a number of exceptions to it.


1. No criminal proceedings whatsoever shall be instituted or continued against the President, or the Governor of a State, in any court during his term of office.


2. No process for the arrest or imprisonment of the President, or the Governor of a State, shall issue from any court during his term of office.
