Who was the founder of the Bahmani Empire?

The Bahmani kingdom was founded by Alauddin Hasan in 1347. He assumed the title of Alauddin Hasan Bahman Shah (1347-58). It is from this title that the kingdom was called the Bahmani kingdom.
