What is pH?

pH is the measure of acidity or alkalinity of a sample. The pH is defined as the negative logarithm of the hydrogen ion concentration in mole per liter.

•For acidic solution, pH < 7


•For basic/alkaline solution, pH > 7


•For neutral solution, pH = 7
