(a) In these lines, the poet means by ‘turn’ that he wants new directions in life i.e. he wants to live peacefully with animals. They are very peaceful and satisfied, so he wants to live a similar life.


(b) Why does the poet want to live with animals?


In these lines, the poet is mentioning a contrast between animals and human beings. He further stated that human beings are very greedy whereas animals are very calm, quiet and satisfied.


(c) What are the poet’s feelings for human beings?


The poet feels that human beings are very different from animals. On the one hand, where animals are peaceful and satisfied, on the other hand, human beings are very greedy, selfish and complicated.

(a) Valli stands up on the seat so that she can see the beauty of nature with her own eyes. But when she starts to view the beauty her view was obstructed by a blind canvass that covered the lower part of her window.


(b) Valli was annoyed by the elderly man because she was lost in the beauty of nature and was suddenly startled by the voice of the older man.


(c) ‘Concerned’ means worried. The passage states that the elder man was concerned about the Valli standing, so he asked Valli to sit down.
