Rearrange the following words / phrases to form meaningful sentences: (3)

1. is its / remarkable feature / preciousness / the most / of time

2. opportunities /of golden / every moment / thousands / brings with it

3. slip away / not allow / we must / time to / such precious

1. The most remarkable feature of time is its preciousness.

The sentence starts with ‘the most’ which emphasises on the subject of the sentence that is ‘time’. The next fragment would be ‘remarkable feature’ as it gives a hint of what we are talking about, followed by ‘of time’ which is the subject then ‘is its’ used to indicate time and lastly the adjective i.e. ‘preciousness’. It talks about the value of time. Thus it forms a logical and coherent sentence.

2. Every moment brings with it thousands of golden opportunities.

The starting fragment would be ‘every moment’ as it forms the subject of the sentence. It is followed by ‘brings with it’ as it adds to the subject. Then it further talked about the thousands of golden opportunities that each moment offers thereby forming a logical and coherent sentence.

3. We must not allow such precious time to slip away.

The sentence starts with ‘we must’ making it a suggestion for us followed by ‘not allow’ and ‘such precious’ showing the value of the subject i.e. time. This is followed by ‘slip away’ making the sentence logical and coherent emphasising that we should make use of each moment and not let any moment slip away.
